About Charlie Allen
Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm 40 years old and live with my beautiful wife Rachel and my 11 month old son, Edward, who we call 'Ned'. I'm also a businessman, and have my own events, hospitality and sponsorship business.
We live in a village called Kencot in Oxfordshire. I'm a fanatic sports lover- I used to play Rugby for Harlequins reserves, alongside Cricket, Golf and Tennis....and I also love my horseracing. I also enjoy cooking programmes, and a visit to the local pub of course!
I'm delighted to be one of your Voices of the Races- I'm going to be loving going racing more regularly. Of all the sports I’ve been involved with racing embodies the passions and foibles of life most richly. I'll try to pass on as much good advice as I can, and hopefully you'll enjoy meeting me, my family and my colourful friends.
I'm also here to help so if you have anything you want to ask me, please get in touch!
