Tales from the Scales- Richard Hughes

Richard Hughes is one of the top jockeys in Britain. Winner of 25 Group 1 races (the highest class of race) and counting, Hughes is the stable jockey for trainer Richard Hannon, who currently leads the Trainers' Championship. 

He has ridden over 100 winners in 8 of the last 10 seasons, and is this year pushing to win the Jockeys' Championship, trying to catch early leader Paul Hanagan in an exciting finish.

Standing at 5' 10" he is tall for a flat jockey, and is also one of the best respected riders in the weighing room.

Here though he puts that reputation at risk as he spills the beans on some of his racing compatriots!
