The National Trainers Federation (NTF) is the professional body for licensed racehorse trainers in the UK. It promotes their interests through representation in racings political corridors of power and by providing a range of services and publications.

National Association of Stable Staff
The National Association of Stable Staff (NASS) is the Independent Certificated Trade Union representing Stable Staff employed by Licensed Racehorse Trainers.
NASS is committed to improving pay, conditions of service and the overall employment position of stable staff. It was previously called the Stable Lads Association.

Northern Racing College, Doncaster
The aim of the Northern Racing College is to provide high quality training for young people who want to work in the racing industry. This leads to the achievement of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ's) together with practical experience in trainers' yards.
Approximately 100 students complete their 12-week residential 'NVQ level 1 Foundation Course' each year. This is the starting point for students with no previous experience of working with horses and for those with some equine but limited racing experience.
