McCririck and Dettori Million Pound Wager
Frankie Dettori and John McCririck will form an unlikely game-show alliance when they team up this weekend on the popular quiz show, Million Pound Drop.
The racing duo follow in the footsteps of the likes of Sara Cox and Aled Jones, Alan Carr and Melanie Skyes and former Olympic athletes Jonathan Edward and Colin Jackson in battling it out on the big-stakes game for a charity of their choice. In the gripping game, the contestants are given one million pounds in £50 notes, banded in 40 bundles of £25,000 and they must answer eight questions in an effort to keep as much of the money as possible. If they wager incorrectly on an option from a multiple choice list, their dosh will be dropped down one of the trap doors.
Hopefully, there will be plenty of current affairs and sporting categories to ensure the pair retain as much of the money in an effort to raise funds for Paralympic and disability-related charities.
