Camelot stars in his own TV commercial
To mark his quest for the historic Triple Crown, Camelot has joined the mighty Frankel as only the second thoroughbred to have his own TV commercial.
Aidan O'Brien's star three-year-old will be bidding to add to his QIPCO 2000 Guineas and Investec Derby and become the first horse for over 40 years to supplement these with victory in the Ladbrokes St Leger on Saturday.
Only two horses have achieved this feat since the end of the First World War and the mighty Nijinsky was the last horse to land this 'clean sweep' of Classics under the legendary Lester Piggott back in 1970.
Therefore, with Camelot bidding to go down in the history books and etch his name in racing folklore on Saturday, a 20-second TV commercial has been produced to promote the challenge he faces at Town Moor.
The advert will be broadcast at key times early this week on ITV Yorkshire, including a slot during the England vs Ukraine football game on Tuesday evening, as well as during one of the nation's favourite soaps, Coronation Street.
