A Great Day Out
Trainers' Open Days
Ever wondered what the life of a racehorse is really like? This summer some of Britain’s best racehorse trainers are opening their doors to allow the public to see what it takes to get a racehorse in prime condition for the races.

This is a unique opportunity to have a good snoop around some of the state of the art training establishments and learn all about how a racehorse lives - everything from a its special dietary requirements to its technically advanced bedding which it sleeps on!
You can also meet some of the incredibly hard working stable staff who take daily care of the horses and ask them any questions you like. In addition, some Open Days put on extra family entertainment, including fun fairs and refreshments.

Here is a list of trainer’s open days throughout the summer. This page will be updated over the coming months so keep an eye on it to find out if there are any Trainer Open Days near you!
